Our Story
Planted in Lumber City.
Growing in grace.
Since 1899, St. John Missionary Baptist Church has gathered believers around the Word of God, heartfelt worship, and Christian fellowship.
Our history is more than a date. It is the testimony of generations who prayed, served, sacrificed, and trusted God to sustain this house. Today, we honor that foundation while continuing to welcome new generations into the life of the church.
“Rooted in Christ. Grounded in His Word.”
This is more than our motto—it is the foundation of our worship, witness, and service.
Our Guide
God’s Word shapes what we believe, how we live, and how we serve.
Our Calling
We gather in worship and go forth to share God’s love with our community.
